The ideal travel trade representative will be responsible for growing industry sales by building new relationships with agents and maintaining existing ones.
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious person to work within our clients social and fun team.
Travel Trade Business Development Executive Duties:
- Maximise and grow agency sales in the travel industry in the UK.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our travel agent partners to help make agents remember our client.
- Creating and updating training presentations to a high standard.
- Provide excellent training sessions to trade partners with enthusiasm and passion including regular sales visits in person, as well as leading webinars.
- Provide consistent communication with agency partners to communicate news, product updates, incentives and training.
- Attending and hosting (if applicable) travel trade, consumer and conference events.
- Creating fam trips and hosting selected Fam trips.
- Updating social media channels with any trade activity on a regular basis.
- Regular driving is required, therefore a clean driving license and car is essential.
Essential Requirements:
- Full drivers licence and car – car allowance provided.
- B2B sales experience within the travel industry is essential.
- Some knowledge of Latin America ideal but not essential.
- Confident on the phone, face to face or presenting to a group.
- Must be ambitious and driven.
- Enjoys going to functions and social events.
- Good sense of humour!
