TUI adds new ports for Marella and shorter river cruises for winter 2025

TUI’s Marella Cruises has added new ports in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico for winter 2025, while TUI River Cruises has new sailings on the Danube and some shorter, four-night sailings.

Marella Discovery will call at Isla Catalina in the Dominican Republic and Ponce in Puerto Rico from 16 December 2025 on its Tropical Isles itinerary, which departs from La Romana in the Dominican Republic.

Marella Discovery 2 will offer an Exotic Islands Caribbean itinerary from 8 January 2026, which includes new overnight onboard stays in Willemstad, Curacao and cruise and stay options in Barbados.

Marella Explorer 2 will sail an Island Explorer itinerary from 28 November 2025 from Tenerife and Gran Canaria, which includes an overnight stay in port at Funchal in Madeira.

Marella Voyagers’ new year sailing will include the Madeira firework display and a cruise and stay offer in Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

TUI River Cruises will have new sailings down the river Danube for winter 2025 on TUI Maya, and shorter four-night sailings will be available on this ship as well as on TUI Isla and TUI Skyla on the Rhine.

In total, TUI River Cruises will have 15 sailings across the entire fleet, including seven-night Nile cruises operated by its newest ship, TUI Al Horeya, from November 2025, with flights from London Gatwick and Manchester to Luxor.

Both Marella Cruises and TUI River Cruises winter 2025 programmes are on sale from today.
