TUI will put part of its summer ’26 on sale on 17 October, when it will be the only UK operator offering free kids places to Florida.

In total, TUI will have 2,000 hotels on sale for summer ’26 from next week, including 80 TUI BLUE and Sensatori by TUI BLUE resorts as well as TUI Magic Life, TUI Suneo and Holiday Village.

It will have 92 exclusive routes from regional airports.

Announcing the launch of the programme at the ABTA Travel Convention in Greece, TUI’s new UK and Ireland Managing Director Neil Swanson said trading this summer has been ‘tough’ for tour operators, with bookings coming in as late as four to six weeks before departure.

“Load factors are brilliant, we are filling planes, but there are challenges with the amount of capacity out there,” he said. “Winter ’24 trading is similar, people are still in a four- to six-week booking window. They are absolutely booking but they are booking late.”

For summer ’26 in Orlando, TUI will have 18 hotels on sale, including Universal Resort hotels, The Universal Endless Dockside and The Universal Summer Surfside.

Commercial Director Phillip Iveson said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our summer free kids’ places including Florida. We know how much families value the offer and anticipate the uptake for Orlando will be strong.” Overall, TUI will offer ‘thousands’ of free kids places in multiple destinations.

Four new destinations have been added to TUI’s weddings portfolio including the Maldives, Mauritius, Lake Garda in Italy and Majorca, while same sex weddings will also be available in Croatia and Greece.

The choice of tours has been expanded to 64, including a taster safari in Kenya, a grand tour of Thailand, Limoncello tasting in Sorrento and sailing the Turkish coast.

There are also 105 short- and long-haul mix and match multi-destinations holidays, while city breaks will be offered in Dubai, Oman, Abu Dhabi and New York with more to follow later.

TUI River Cruises will have four new itineraries for its European fleet, including a six-night Dutch & Belgian Discovery and a seven-night East Danube Delights, plus there’s a new cruise-and-stay option combining a seven-night cruise with seven nights in the new Lakes & Mountains destination Lake Balaton.

“For summer 2026 we are offering our widest range of destinations with free kids’ places, the convenience of being able to fly from 24 UK regional airports, market-beating luggage allowance on our family concepts like Holiday Village, Sensatori and TUI Blue, and the icing on the cake is our TUI run kids clubs with UK accredited staff across 112 hotels,” added Phillip.

“We are bolstering our TUI flying programme with an ever-expanding selection of flights including our airline partners meaning we offer unrivalled choice, all with the exceptional TUI service our customers know and love.”
