TUI Group has revealed plans to increase its presence in Turkey, including expanding its own hotel brands and extending the season in more markets.
TUI CEO Sebastian Ebel met with Tourism Minister Mehmet Ersoy and leading Turkish hoteliers recently to share plans to grow TUI’s presence in Turkey across all sectors.
The growth plan involves more collaboration with Turkish hotel partners as well as further expansion of TUI’s own hotel brands.
TUI also wants to extend the season across more of its markets to include autumn and winter.
The UK and German markets already offer Turkey as a year-round destination and other markets will also expand their programmes into the winter season. TUI will also target customers from new markets – with a special focus on Eastern Europe as well as international travellers from non-European markets.
TUI has 33 TUI Hotels and Resorts in Turkey, with more than 25.000 beds. The two most recent additions opened this year – TUI BLUE Angora Beach and TUI MAGIC LIFE Beldibi.
