TUI River Cruises to sail biggest ship to date in Europe

TUI River Cruises has expanded its fleet for 2026 with the addition of its biggest ship yet.

The newly refurbished TUI Ria will be the fourth ship to operate on European waterways, joining TUI Isla, TUI Maya and TUI Skyla.

TUI Ria will accommodate 190 passengers will be accommodated across 96 cabins and the ship will operate six-, seven-, eight- and nine-night ‘Full Board Plus’ sailings from Amsterdam, Basel and Frankfurt on nine itineraries from spring 2026. Passengers will be able to upgrade to all-inclusive.

Three itineraries are new to the TUI river cruise programme. They are a 10-day ‘North Rhine & Moselle Explorer’ and a nine-day ‘Moselle & North Rhine’ cruise, both from Frankfurt to Amsterdam; and a seven-day ‘Dutch Delta Discovery’ round-trip from Amsterdam.

TUI Ria will be the first TUI River Cruise ship in Europe to include a pool with panoramic views and retractable roof, a sauna, sun loungers, putting green and shuffleboard on the upper deck.

In the evening, the pool floor will rise to close off the water, transforming the space into a secondary dining venue and entertainment area.

New direct flights will operate on selected dates and itineraries from Bristol to Amsterdam and Newcastle to Frankfurt.

Prices start at £1,649 per person on the Dutch Delta Discovery, with flights from Heathrow.
