TUI UK and Ireland has promoted Phillip Iveson as its new Commercial Director.

Phill replaces Richard Sofer and will officially start his new role on 1 November, when he will also join the UK&I Board of Directors.

Phill joined TUI in 2010 from Expedia and moves to his new role from TUI Group Product & Purchasing, where he’s been the Commercial Director, responsible for product strategy & planning, strategic hotel optimisation and partnership revenue generation.

TUI UK MD Andrew Flintham said: “Phill brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience, making him well placed to lead UK&I’s commercial function.

“I have worked closely with Phill for more than 12 years and look forward to welcoming him onto the UK&I Board of Directors and wish him every success with his new role.”

Phill said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Board of TUI UK and Ireland at such a pivotal time, as we grow not only in our traditional package market but also in new segments.”

In addition, Chris Logan has had his role expanded to include Managing Director – Specialist Businesses. In this expanded role, Chris will take responsibility for TUI River Cruise alongside his current role of leading Crystal Ski Holidays, and TUI Lakes & Mountains.
