Crew on the Carnival Jubilee rescued two men they spotted stranded in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday.
The pair, found floating in a kayak, were hauled onboard the ship as it passed Isla Mujeres in Mexico off the coast of Quintana Roo.
Carnvial said the men told them they took to the kayak after their boat sank.
The crew on the Jubilee transferred the men to a Mexican Navy vessel shortly after the rescue.
The ship was on a seven-day western Caribbean cruise from Galveston. After the rescue, it continued sailing to Mahogany Bay on Roatan Island, Honduras.
