Virgin Atlantic is returning to Mexico with three weekly flights from London Heathrow to Cancun for winter 2025.
Starting on 19 October, the new flights will be the only direct service between Heathrow and Cancun.
Virgin will offer connections to the other cities in central and South America, such as Mexico City, Santiago, Buenos Aries and Lima, with SkyTeam partner Aeromexico and codeshare partner LATAM.
Virgin Atlantic Holidays will offer packages to a variety of hotels in Cancun and on the Riviera Maya, as well as excursions to Tulum, the parks of Xcaret and Xel-Há and Chichen Itza – a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Packages will go on sale on 12 November 2024.
The winter-only flights will be operated by an Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, with 16 Upper Class, 56 Premium and 325 economy seats and airline’s Upper Class social space, The Booth.
