British Airways appears to be planning to resume flights to Israel on 1 February next year for the first time since October.

It has seats on sale from 1 February, from £403 one way.

Meanwhile, Virgin Atlantic’s flights between London and Tel Aviv remain suspended until 16 March.

From 17 March, Virgin will re-start flights to Israel, with tickets also on sale for £403 one way.

However, Virgin has confirmed that it has no plans to resume its second daily flight to Tel Aviv next summer.

EasyJet has not confirmed when it plans to re-launch its service between the UK and Israel.

Flights to Tel Aviv were grounded in October after a terror attack on Israel, which sparked an escalation of its conflict with Gaza.

Lufthansa Group has confirmed its airlines will be amongst the first European airlines to resume services to Tel Aviv in January.

German carrier Lufthansa will restart flights from Frankfurt and Munich from early January, and SWISS and Austrian Airlines will also restart flights from Zurich and Vienna, according to Times of Israel. Flight schedules will be published later today.
