Virgin Atlantic has announced its flights to São Paulo in Brazil will go on sale on 6 September.
Flights will operate daily from 13 May 2024, with return fares starting from £686.
São Paulo will be Virgin’s first ever route to South America. Flights will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The city is a key hub for Virgin’s codeshare partner LATAM, which offers onward flights to more than 50 cities in South America, including Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Florianopolis.
Virgin’s SkyTeam alliance partner, Aerolineas Argentinas, also provides connections from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires.
