Wendy Wu Tours has unveiled its Japan 2025-26 programme, which includes cruise-and-tour itineraries for the first time.

The operator says its new programme is its biggest so far, with cruise options including an 18-day ‘Singapore to Tokyo’ itinerary from ££9,690 per person and a 14-day ‘Japan by Land and Sea’ sailing, from £8,290.

Other highlights include a 21-day ‘Best of Japan’ tour from £6,990pp, taking in Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Fuji, as well as immersive cultural experiences such as a traditional tea ceremony and a stay in a ryokan (a traditional Japanese inn).

An 18-day ‘Japan Uncovered’ tour includes Hiroshima and Kanazawa, the Japanese Alps, and the cherry blossoms in full bloom, starting from £7,990pp.

For people who are shorter on time, the eight-day ‘A Week in Japan’ includes Tokyo and Kyoto from £3,990pp, while there are also cruise-and-tour options.

Wendy Wu is offering a ‘Partner Flies Free’ promotion, and a 50% airfare discount for solo travellers, both available on bookings up to September 2, 2024.

Head of Trade Sales Gary King said: “This new brochure represents our commitment to providing unparalleled choice and flexibility to our agents, with more departure dates and a wider range of itineraries than ever before. The special launch promotions make this an unbeatable opportunity to experience the best of Japan with the award-winning service that Wendy Wu Tours is known for.

“Our new Cruise & Tour itineraries mark a significant expansion in our offerings, allowing travellers to experience Japan in a truly unique way.

“With demand for Japan travel at an all-time high, particularly during the cherry blossom and autumn leaf seasons, we encourage travellers to book early to secure their preferred tour and dates.”
