Wendy Wu Tours reached its highest sales volumes in its 25-year history in January, which is said reflected the ‘tireless support from travel agents and incredible engagement from trade partners’.
The operator said its Prize A Day Giveaway incentive had helped fuel a sales surge, while the resurgence of China as a touring destination post-pandemic had also played a ‘pivotal’ role.
The upswing in sales to China, which has accounted for a fifth of all bookings over the past six weeks, was ‘testament to the travel agents’ robust demand’, it added.
