As it enters its Golden Anniversary year, stylish Italian hotel chain Mangia’s Resorts and Clubs is proud to announce that three of its luxury resorts have been elevated for the new summer season to five-star status. The three five-star resorts for 2023 are Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort and Mangia’s Brucoli Resort in Sicily, and Mangia’s Santa Teresa Resort in Sardinia.

Founded in 1973, Mangia’s Resorts and Clubs consists of a total of 13 properties in Sicily and Sardinia, each offering something unique but typically Italian. The group has 6 resorts and seven MClubs, 9 in Sicily and 4 in Sardinia. Together, the 13 structures welcome over one million guests a year.

The first five-star Resort to open for the 2023 season is Torre del Barone. Located in Sciaccamare in the southern Sicilian province of Agrigento, Torre del Barone has a thermal centre with a spa (pictured below), a sandy beach, as well as fine restaurants, sports facilities and kids’ clubs providing all-day entertainment and childcare for youngsters from the ages of 4 to 17.

Further along the Sicilian coast is the freshly renovated Brucoli, with totally refreshed rooms and new restaurants for 2023. The property has entered the Autograph Collection by Marriot and allows guests the opportunity to relax in style and explore the south-east of the island including Mount Etna, Syracuse and Taormina.

On the north coast of Sardinia, in a stunning, small and sheltered bay, the five-star Santa Teresa resort is entering the 2023 season with entirely renovated rooms, comfortable wellness spaces and the exclusivity of a 24-hour concierge service for a truly relaxing stay in a beautiful location (pictured below).

While each of Mangia’s hotels is unique, all the beachfront properties offer affordable, sustainable luxury, incorporating the pleasures and comforts of nature in every aspect of indoor and outdoor design.

Blending authentic Italian style with open-air experiences in spacious plots surrounded by local vegetation, they’re designed to allow adults maximum relaxation. Each provides kids clubs in dedicated spaces, so parents can have some quiet time while knowing their children are being entertained and enjoying their holiday.

All Mangia’s Resorts and Clubs offer exemplary dining experiences, with menus of Italian and international fusion dishes – from Sicilian and Sardinian cooking at Donna Floriana Bistrot and Scausu Grill to sushi at Kaigan Sushi Bar – created using locally sourced ingredients. Guests can also enjoy unique experiences, locally themed tours and excursions, and outdoor fitness classes taught by lifestyle fitness operators.

Mangia’s resorts and Clubs have large open spaces, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports facilities, relaxation areas, spas, bars and restaurants and live entertainment. These are the facilities that have enticed guests to return time after time for the past 50 years.
