The Zambia Tourism Agency is celebrating 60 years of the country’s independence by giving away a six-night holiday for two in an agent competition.

The winner and a guest will visit South Luangwa National Park, known as the valley of the leopard, staying with Kafunta Safaris for two nights. They will then travel to Lower Zambezi National Park, staying for two nights at Classic Zambia’s Chula Island Camp before heading to Livingstone, close to the Zambezi River (pictured), on the border with Zimbabwe, and gateway to the Victoria Falls.

In Livingstone, they will spend their final two nights of the trip at Waterberry Lodge. Internal flights will be provided by Proflight.

Zambia gained independence in 1964. Zambia High Commission First Secretary for Tourism Doris Kofi said: “We are pleased that our travel partners can join us for the celebrations of Zambia’s 60th Anniversary of national independence.

“Getting more travel professionals to see Zambia for themselves is a key part of our 2025 strategy and we thank our partners on the ground for supporting this initiative.”

To be in with the chance to win, agents should click here, complete the short quiz and provide their contact details, by midnight on Friday 22 November.
