Youtravel.com has cancelled all bookings up to and including 31 October 2024.

The supplier, which is owned by Germany’s FTI Group, told travel partners it hopes to be able to provide an update on its future in the next few weeks.

FTI Group’s tour operator brand FTI Touristik filed for insolvency in June.

The latest Youtravel.com statement said: “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners for their unwavering support and constant check-ins during these challenging times, the team at Youtravel.com truly appreciates it.

“Despite our best efforts over the past 7 weeks, the complexity of our group means that it has become more difficult than initially expected to structure a takeover. We still find ourselves locked in advanced talks to secure our future and hope to be able to give some clarity on the position in the upcoming weeks.

“In light of this, we have made the difficult decision to extend our cancellation policy once again to the 31st October 2024 (inclusive). This extension aims to provide our partners with additional time to arrange rebookings and alternative solutions for their clients.

“Any bookings in the Youtravel system for arrivals up to and including 31st October 2024 will be automatically cancelled without any charges by Monday 22nd July 2024.”

Bookings from 1 November onwards will remain active.
