Candidates will have a willingness to devote time and effort including helping to arrange, support and attend charity/travel industry related events and activities, a strategic vision and good, independent judgement .
Rachel O’Reiiily Director of Communications Dertour UK added:
“It’s a great privilege to be part of the LifeLine team, helping to support anyone out there in our travel industry family who may be struggling for all sorts of different reasons. I’ve had a close connection with Trudie and the charity for many years and have always championed fundraising events and awareness raising campaigns. I’m now looking forward to helping shape the way forward in a more formalised way as a trustee.”
LifeLine Director Trudie Clements said:
“I am delighted to welcome Rachel to our Board of Directors, she is highly respected throughout the industry and her wealth of experience particularly in the area of Communications, will prove invaluable as we grow and develop the charity.
“We need more similarly passionate and committed people to join our Board of Trustees and I would encourage you to put yourself forward as a candidate and help us with the invaluable work we do helping members of the ABTA family who need our support.”
