Meet ABTA’s new Head of Membership

I started my travel career at the age of 17 and have been working in the industry for 28 years. I have worked for Thomas Cook, Going Places, Kuoni, Sandals, Celebrity Cruises, and Kenwood Travel in sales, management and senior management roles.
Having worked for a number of ABTA members, I know the strength of the ABTA brand, the benefits this brings to travel businesses, and its importance to customers. I have a passion for travel and have travelled to different parts of the world; I really enjoy visiting different destinations, and embracing diverse cultures.
As ABTA’s new Head of Membership, I will be working closely with the Membership team to identify new and innovative ways to engage with our members, looking at what works for them, and understanding their needs, to find ways of further enhancing and personalising their experiences with ABTA.
I’ll also be working closely with ABTA’s Senior Leadership Team, to develop and deliver ABTA’s strategy, with a focus on helping ABTA members to run exceptional travel businesses.
I really enjoy networking with other colleagues in the travel industry and meeting new people to build key relationships and see how we can drive the industry forward. I will be meeting members at various locations across the UK and overseas throughout the year, at ABTA events, ABTA’s regional member get-togethers, Travel Gossip Roadshows and industry conferences. I am really looking forward to meeting you all in 2025, learning more about your travel businesses and goals, hearing how ABTA can further support our members, and ensuring that all members know what ABTA has to offer them to ensure they get the best out of their membership.
