Not in the Guidebooks has expanded its Arctic collection in response to demand, with new itineraries in Finland, Norway and Iceland.
They include a two- and four-night stays in a lakeside cabin in Pyha, Finland, staying in authentic accommodation, such as glass roof igloos to traditional log cabins and offering experiences such as husky sledding, reindeer farms, ice fishing and the chance to see the Northern Lights.
Sales Director Debbie Sowden said: “The popularity of Arctic getaways has reached exciting levels. We’re seeing increased interest not just for winter breaks, but year-round travel to these captivating northern destinations.
“Finland has emerged as a top choice for British travellers and the demand for our Finland experiences has been exceptional. Peak dates in December 2024 now have limited availability, but we’ve opened bookings for 2025 and 2026 to meet the growing interest.”
She added: “Agents love that our Lapland breaks are less commercialised than others and that they offer a more immersive winter wonderland experience, with the flexibility to fly on any dates.”
“As interest in Arctic travel continues to soar, we’re dedicated to offering our customers unparalleled, authentic experiences while ensuring the long-term sustainability of these remarkable destinations.”
Not in the Guidebooks promotes sustainable and responsible tourism and works closely with local communities in the Arctic to ensure tourism benefits the region while preserving its natural beauty and cultural heritage.
