Starting in 2008, after leaving a partnership with another tour company, Edward embarked on this venture not with grand ambitions to revolutionise the industry but with a simple goal to make a living in the industry he loves.
Operating from a modest office in his mother’s house, Pristine Trails began by organising weekend safaris for volunteers in Moshi. Despite modest beginnings, Edward’s love for meeting new people and showcasing Tanzania’s beauty has always been the driving force.
Edward’s vision for Pristine Trails was clear: to stand out by embodying ethical travel and fostering a family-like atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Today, alongside his wife and co-owner Kim, Pristine Trails proudly offers tailor-made Tanzania tours that provide unforgettable tourist experiences while positively impacting local communities and conservation efforts.
