CroisiEurope has expanded its Cruise & Hike programme for 2025, adding two new itineraries through the Rhine Valley and along the Gironde.

The cruises feature guided walks, along with a selection of excursions available for those who don’t want to hike.

A five-night ‘The Rhine Valley’ itinerary from Strasbourg takes in Rudesheim, Koblenz, Mainz and Rastatt, including a unique treetop walk in the Black Forest. Non-walkers can opt for excursions to Rüdesheim including Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet, Koblenz and the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum and the spa town of Baden-Baden. The cruise, on Gerard Schmitter, departs 28 August 2025 with prices from £1,791 per person.

The second new itinerary is a four night ‘The Gironde’ cruise from Bordeaux, including the medieval city of Saint-Émilion and its vineyards and an urban hike through the centre of Bordeaux. Non-walkers can take a guided tour of the Médoc Wine Route, Blaye and its Vauban citadel and the medieval city of Saint-Émilion. The cruise, on Cyrano de Bergerac, departs 13 October 2025 with prices from £1,558pp.
