To navigate these complexities and ensure a smooth journey, for your travel clients it's essential to stay informed about the latest guidelines and pass these on as useful information.

The Carry-On Luggage:

  • Fragile Items: If travellers are checking in fragile items, consider using sturdy luggage and packing them carefully to minimize damage. This can also be indicated on the luggage, and many airports additionally offering baggage wrapping services to protect luggage.
Tips for Hassle-Free Travel:
  • Check Airline Websites: As mentioned above, as a passenger or travel advisors, always consult the specific airline's website for the most accurate and up-to-date baggage policies.
  • Pack Smart: Provide useful guidelines to your clients to using efficient packing of their suitcases which can help them avoid excess baggage fees. Use packing cubes to maximize space and organize your belongings.
  • Consider a Lightweight Suitcase: It is sensible to invest in a lightweight suitcase that can make travel easier, especially when navigating airports and public transportation.
  • Print Important Documents: recommend clients must have printed copies of their itinerary, boarding passes, and travel documents as a backup. Up to 3 copies is sensible.
  • Arrive Early: Recommend clients for arriving at the airport early which can give them more than ample time to check in, drop off bags, and clear security.
  • Stay Informed: as an ITA always keep an eye on travel advisories and news for any potential changes or disruptions.
Travel advisors must stay abreast of flight regulations and help clients by passing this on to them. This way you can minimize their stress and maximize your travel experience.
