- Contact and secure new business in the non-profit, event travel and group travel markets by applying consultative sales techniques and by promoting relevant products and services to achieve maximum profitability.
- Identifying and delivering customer solutions that build long term partnership opportunities.
- Investigating industry trends and customer data to identify new prospects and revenue streams.
- Active engagement with decision makers and influencers users across the target organisation.
- Reviewing the prospect profitability as part of the pipeline quality development.
- Developing and implementing improvement action plans, tracking results and performance.
- Efficiently prospecting for potential new clients using multiple channels including cold calls, networking, tender sites, and referrals.
- Preparing concise and effective presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
French or Dutch Speaking Business Development Manager – Essential Requirements
- B2B Travel industry experience in a similar role is imperative.
- Foreign language skills (French and/or Dutch).
- High energy, empathy and charisma.
- Commercially focused with a strategic and a dynamic approach to business development, to ensure key performance indicators are exceeded.
- Keen to drive business performance, successful customer solutions, and personal success.
