Vicki Wolf, Head of Education and Career Development at ABTA, was invited to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace yesterday (14 May 2025), given by His Majesty the King, in recognition of people who have made an outstanding contribution in the field of education and skills.
Vicki has been leading ABTA’s programme of activity in education and professional development for almost 15 years and is an expert on education and careers in the sector.
In recent years, Vicki has been an integral part of the Travel Industry Working Skills Group, a team of industry and education experts that was established following the Government’s announcement to de-fund post-16 education options for those wishing to pursue a travel and tourism qualification.
Vicki Wolf, ABTA’s Head of Education & Career Development, said:
“It was an absolute honour to be invited to attend the Royal Garden Party to celebrate those working in education and skills. Many people who I’ve worked with over the years were also in attendance, so it was wonderful for us to enjoy the occasion together. I’m looking forward to continuing my work in this vital area, championing the skilled professionals across our sector and encouraging the next wave of talent to pursue a career in travel.”
