The world of travel is a dynamic one. Whether it’s economic pressures, geopolitical developments or evolving consumer behaviours – travel is constantly changing and facing fresh challenges. At ABTA, it’s critical that we stand alongside our members and make sure our support and guidance continues to be relevant and meaningful to you.
Yesterday, we came together as an organisation for our staff conference under the theme of ‘Supporting members in a changing world’. Bringing colleagues together in one place is always valuable, but this year it felt particularly important.
Not everyone at ABTA works directly with our members day-to-day, yet every role in the organisation contributes to supporting our members in some way. So, hearing directly from some of our members on stage, and other organisations we work closely with like the FCDO, was interesting, thought-provoking and a reminder to all of us at ABTA as to why our work matters to our members.
The conference also gave us the opportunity to continue with implementing ABTA’s business plan where, as you’d expect, supporting members is our focus.
It was an energising end to January as we look towards the rest of the year. My sincere thanks to all speakers, guests and delegates who collectively made it an event to remember.
